Israel has announced the death of Mohammed Deif, one of the leaders of the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas. The military announced on X platform and WhatsApp that they can now confirm that Deif has been killed. The attack on Deif took place in mid-July. Deif was the top commander of the military wing of Hamas.
The IDF said in a statement released today that on July 13, 2024, IDF fighter jets launched an attack on the Khan Yunis area, and after analyzing intelligence information, it can be confirmed that Mohammad Daif was eliminated in the attack.
Deif, along with Hamas leader Ismail Hanijah, who was killed yesterday in Iran, and Jaja Sinwar, who is believed to be in the Gaza Strip, are considered the masterminds of Hamas’ major October 7 attack on Israel.
