The open our parliament on Wednesday rejected the state-level popular initiative “Isleten for All” submitted by the Green Party by 51 votes against, 7 votes in favor and 2 abstentions. The initiative, which will be voted on on November 24, aims to prevent Egyptian investor Samih Sawiris from carrying out a construction project on the Isleten peninsula on Lake Uri.
