This week, Manx Care hosted its third public open day and APM (Annual Public Meeting).
Attendees at the event (Tuesday 9 July) included members of the public and colleagues from Manx Care and partner agencies.
This informal event had a great atmosphere, with exciting stalls from a variety of teams, and activities for kids (and adults)!

This year, the open house took place at the Ramsey Mountain View Innovation Centre in the north of the island, capping off a well-attended session with a sit-down APM and demonstrations.
Visitors heard from the Multi-Agency Assurance Hub (MASH) team, some of the teams involved in the larger transformational change programme in the area of emergency and urgent care, and one of our valued consultants, who discussed improvements to some of our waiting lists.
Teresa Cope, CEO of Manx Care, said:
“This was a very positive event and a great opportunity for members of our community to engage with colleagues. Thank you to all the speakers and everyone who supported the open day. We will take all the feedback into account as we start planning next year’s event and continue our commitment to delivering patient and service user-centred health and care for the island.”
