The Saint Lucia Sports Association is pleased to announce a new partnership with Le Club Volleyball, aimed at bringing the excitement of volleyball to communities across the island.

The partnership provides Saint Lucians with the opportunity to participate in a vibrant sport while also benefiting from a variety of health-related activities designed to enhance overall wellness. The program will feature a series of indoor and beach volleyball tournaments to cater to both competitive and recreational players. The tournaments will be held in four strategically selected communities across Saint Lucia, ensuring a wide audience can enjoy the benefits of this engaging sport. These locations include Pigeon Point, Micoud, Dennery and La Clery.
Tyna Eudoxie, executive member of Le Club Volleyball, shared the motivation behind the initiative.

Pigeon Point, Micoud, Dennery and La Clery showcase our talents.”
In addition to the competition, there will be health education sessions, wellness workshops and interactive booths offering practical tips and resources for maintaining a healthy mind and body. This holistic approach aims to foster active and sustainable lifestyles among Saint Lucians and tackle non-communicable diseases.
“Given that life is dynamic and volleyball is one of the most dynamic sports, this sport will demonstrate how an active and sustainable lifestyle can help people fight non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and even cancer. It is therefore imperative that other entities promote this lifestyle,” said Selva Wilson, a member of the Saint Lucia Sports Committee.
This partnership between Saint Lucia Moves and Le Club Volleyball highlights the importance of community-led initiatives in promoting health and wellness. From August 10, participants and spectators can look forward to a dynamic series of activities that not only showcase the excitement and skill of volleyball, but also highlight the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
