The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Appeals and Guidance confirmed the success of its work, programs and outreach activities during the holy month of Ramadan 1444 AH, which benefited more than 35 million beneficiaries within and outside the Kingdom, including the “Curistan of the Two Holy Mosques” distribution of dates and gifts to fast people in many countries, as well as the Imams program abroad, in addition to many outreach and guidance programs for the most merciful guests and those who visit the House of God. The Ministry explained that in order to fulfill its mission to serve Islam and Muslims around the world and in accordance with the strong support provided by the wise leadership for the implementation of its various programs, the Ministry has carried out work in all regions of the Kingdom, including the “Curistan of the Two Holy Mosques Gift Program” for fast people in 40 countries, with the beneficiaries of the program reaching (1,444,150) people, and the implementation of the “Curistan of the Two Holy Mosques Gift Program” in (60) countries and (1,351,800) beneficiaries, and the distribution of 635 tons of dates, exceeding the 200 tons of dates distributed in the past few years, doubling the number of beneficiaries. The program has been implemented.

The Imam Program is also implemented abroad, with the participation of (40) Imams, who lead the faithful in Tarawih and prayers, and in (14) countries, within the framework of the program provided by the Ministry every year during the holy month of Ramadan. The requests and wishes of the Emirates, Islamic centers and associations in various countries of the world are responded to through the embassies of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the countries that benefit from the program. The participation of the selected Imams in the program aims to spread the correct teachings, educate Muslims and remind them what is good for their religion and the world, and to take advantage of the participation rate of people in going to mosques during the holy month and invest this in their benefit by guiding them in what to do, and to contribute to strengthening brotherhood among the members of society, spreading attitudes of moderation and temperance.

During the Umrah program, Al-Mawaqit and its mosques received more than (30,000,000) pilgrims and served them around the clock under the supervision of more than (4,250) technicians and field supervisors to determine the level of service provided to the guests. More than (10,000,000) pilgrims also benefited from the sensitization services provided by the General Secretariat of Islamic Awareness on Hajj, Umrah and through lectures, seminars and answering questions through toll-free telephones. Preachers and translators in more than a dozen international languages ​​were involved in the services, working around the clock in the region and at the mosques.

Center, their lectures focus on rituals and issues related to them.

In the field of advocacy and guidance, the Ministry conducted (26,543) advocacy works, including advocacy lectures, awareness-raising speeches and scientific courses, where many male and female preachers from all over the Kingdom introduced the virtues of the auspicious month of Ramadan and invested them in obedience, and explained the rules related to fasting and prayer, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Fitr and the two Eid al-Fitrs. The Institute of Imams and Preachers also conducted (130) scientific courses for its employees. Mosques in various regions and provinces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia explained the fasting books through student guidance books and some scientific literature, and 170,000 beneficiaries benefited from them before the month of Ramadan.

In the area of ​​voluntary work and in sync with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, the Ministry has contributed to opening the way for male and female volunteers, sons and daughters in the Kingdom by offering more than 30 volunteer opportunities dedicated to caring for mosques and serving the Kingdom, sometimes guests of God and his mosques, as the Ministry provided more than (566) thousand hours of volunteer service during Ramadan with the participation of (4930) volunteers.

In the field of publications and scientific research, the number of books downloaded from the electronic library reached (71,500) in more than 40 international languages, (200,000) identity cards were distributed to pilgrims and visitors, and (68) new interactive screens were added to hotels near the holy sites in Jeddah and King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Mosque staff, including imams, preachers, muezzins, male and female observers in more than 83,000 mosques and masjids in all regions and provinces of the Kingdom, work to educate and enlighten people on the issues

In terms of participation in exhibitions and conferences, the Department took part in the 34th Sarajevo International Book Fair, which was attended by 150 participants and 36 publishing houses from Bosnia and Herzegovina, countries of the region and other countries. During its participation, it received for the second consecutive year the Pavilion Award, an award given by the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the most successful library presentation.

The Ministry, represented by the King Fahd Quran Printing Consortium in Medina, has also distributed (1,000,000) copies of the Quran through religious centers and commissioners in 22 countries, in addition to hundreds of thousands of copies of the Quran. During the Holy Month, the text of the Quran is copied and translated to the guests of God at the Two Prophet’s Mosques.

His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Appeals and Guidance, expressed gratitude and appreciation for these successful achievements, thanks to Allah, and thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Faith – may God protect them – indicating that these plans reflect the leadership’s concern for all matters concerning the needs and aspirations of Muslims and are in line with the Kingdom’s noble message.

His Excellency expressed gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Ministry and its branches in various regions, eminent preachers, mosque staff, the Kingdom’s embassies abroad, Islamic emirates, associations, and heads of Islamic councils in various countries around the world for their efforts in achieving the goals and plans of the Ministry, and for the guidance and support of the wise leadership.
