Inditex, Mercadona and Santander are the most valuable Spanish companies this year

Inditex, Mercadona and Santander are the companies with the best reputation in 2014, according to data from the Business Monitor on Corporate Reputation (Merco). Amancio Ortega’s textile group tops the list of most valuable companies for the third year in a row, with Mercadona also in second place and Santander remaining in third place. Its president, Emilio Botín, tops the list of most recognized business leaders, followed by Juan Roig, president of Mercadona, and Amancio Ortega. The list was compiled with the participation of management board members of all companies with a turnover of more than 50 million euros in Spain, as well as CSR experts.
