The Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) operations will resume on a limited basis soon. IVAC has communicated this to Indian visa applicants whose passports are stuck through SMS.
“Dear applicants, IVAC will resume limited operations soon,” IVAC said in a memo sent on Friday (August 9). You will receive a text message to collect your passport.
It is worth noting that last Wednesday evening (August 7), IVAC announced the closure of all Indian visa centers in Bangladesh until further instructions.
A message on the IVAC website said, “Due to the fluid situation, all IVACs will remain closed until further notice.”
