The Fehvar Literary Days (FIN) community literary festival will be held in Szekesfehervar for the ninth time after 2016. The successful literary series has been staged at various locations in the city for the past decade and is still being performed today.
This series of events gives the city’s various cultural scenes the opportunity to showcase themselves and to establish links between contemporary fine art, twentieth-century fine art, gastronomic traditions, today’s subcultural spaces, traditional cultural institutions and contemporary literature.
The 2024 Fehérvár Literature Days will be opened by the poet Erdős Virág.
This will be followed by a concert by the duo Hadik-Kalard and a performance with Cseri Hanna’s program Kíkötő. New works by László Darvasi and Lili Kemény will be presented, and accompanied by gramophone music we can taste the Bakony menu of András Cserna-Szabó and the brothers János.
János Karácsony will perform, and it will once again be FIN’s “Day Zero”, this time with an unusual literary press visit at the ALTO publishing house, this year led by Gábor Németh.
The festival’s main partners are audience members and members of the local and national community of literature enthusiasts. FIN is the Sepiluk Association, city cultural institutions (Fejér County Archives, Szent István Király Museum), restaurants (Petz Söröző, Museum Café), local and neighborhood businesses (Konyvek Store, 972 Brewery, ALTO Printing Company, LogSol Kft.), local organizations (Fehérvár Heti Betevő, Garami Richard Foundation) and audience members.
Their individual supporters help the festival through the Adjukösze.hu fundraising portal and by purchasing supporter tickets. Gábor Farkas Varga designed the image of FIN – Fehérvár Literature Days and ALTO Nyomda supports the realization of the festival with printed works.
