Several oil storage tanks caught fire in Russia’s Rostov region early Tuesday morning following a drone attack. Reuters reports.
According to Russian reports, no casualties were reported in the incident in Azov. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced on Telegram that the fire affected about 5,000 cubic meters of oil, which firefighters were trying to control with several fire engines.
Kiev has yet to comment on what happened, but Ukraine has previously carried out several attacks on Russian energy, military and transportation infrastructure to undermine the aggressor’s war efforts.
