Hanimadu Youth Association, Khedhufushi Club Coral, Hirimaru Dominators and Khedhufushi Zigzag for Youth Linkage will face off in the semi-finals of the Khedhufushi Championship Football Tournament.
All the group stage matches have been played, and today Hanimadu Youth Association played against Zigzag. Hanimadu won 5-2. This match was in Group B. Hanimadu’s Mohammed Ali was named the best player of the match for his hat trick.
Hanima Adu won all three games in the group stage and won a place in the semi-finals as the top team in Group B with 9 points. ZigZag advanced to the semi-finals as the second in the group. Zigzag won one, drew one and lost one in three games in the group stage. The team won the second place with four points.
Hirimaru Club Dominators won Group A. They won two of their three group matches, tied one, and got seven points. Coral won second place. Coral tied two of their three group matches and won one.
The first semi-final of this tournament will be held on the 20th of this month. The Rulers will face the Zigzag team in the first semi-final. The second semi-final between Hanimadu Youth Association and Coral will be held on the 21st.
