After President Asif Ali Zardari’s speech on Sunday, it was clear The two sides have not yet reached a consensus when launching military operations in North Waziristan.

While the political parties agree that action needs to be taken against the militants, they cannot seem to decide what to do next.

The president also noted that if action is taken against militants, there is a risk of a counterattack. Do you agree with him? Should more time be spent considering military action in North Waziristan, analyzing each risk and response outcome, or should the military take military action anyway given the deteriorating security situation in Pakistan?

Why can’t the political parties agree on the war on terror – ensuring peace and security should be on their respective agendas, so why do we still see them dragging their feet?

The President said, Pakistan and Afghanistan should work together Eliminate terrorists and their hideouts. But realistically speaking, can we see this happening? Should Pakistan continue to wait for Afghanistan to act, or continue its actions?
