According to Nasha Niva sources, Andrei Kushnyarov took part in the “New Belarus” conference, where he spoke about the number of Belarusians fighting alongside Ukraine.
“According to data from the beginning of this year, about 1,300 Belarusians fought in the Ukrainian war – this is the number of people demobilized in Belarus since 2014,” Kushnyarov said.
Belarusian volunteers also revealed the number of their compatriots still fighting in the Ukrainian war.
“As of the beginning of this year, about 350 Belarusians were serving in different branches of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” he said Kushnyarov.
