His Highness the Governor of Al-Hasa honours several theatre troupes in the governorate

Today, Monday, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, honored some theatrical teams affiliated with the Al-Ahsa Association for Culture and Arts during the meeting of His Royal Highness’ Council held at the provincial headquarters. The team working on the play “Bahar” won the first place and the Best Overall Play Award at the Riyadh Drama Festival, and the play also won the Best Director Award, Best Acting Award and Best Music Award.

The crew of the play “Herald of Muharram” also had the honor to pay tribute to His Highness on the occasion of the play winning the Best Theatre Costume Award at the Riyadh Theatre Festival, while also paying tribute to the honor of His Highness for directing the play (Al-Shahih and His Last Days) on the occasion of the production winning the Best Decoration Award at the Riyadh Amateur Theatre Club Festival.

His Highness congratulated all the contestants and winners, wishing them further dedication and enduring excellence, stressing that Hassa possesses outstanding talents in various fields.

Mr. Yousef Al-Khamis, Director of Al-Ahsa Association for Culture and Arts, affirmed that Al-Ahsa Theater has a long history and dedication and achievements, while also committed to providing services to society, education and teaching information that emphasizes the history of Al-Ahsa and its heritage, thanking His Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa for his attention, follow-up and enthusiasm for the winners and His Highness’s warm congratulations to all participants.
