Craving for news
I crave news. I subscribe to a few news sites, such as CNN or BBC News But these are international news organizations. I want to know the news about Nepal. I have been to ekantipur.com and Nepal News Network Keep up to date with Nepal’s news. I also listen to BBC Nepal So I don’t usually go to the website to read the news. If I miss something, I’ll go there to listen to it. The major news websites have RSS, so I can get the news anytime, anywhere. But ekantipur.com and Nepal News Network There are no RSS feeds.
Find Twitter
I was browsing these sites and I used this site Yahoo News Get news directly in IM. But this is annoying. I also tried getting news in email. I also used http://alerts.google.com. But that didn’t help. Then I discovered Twitter and I haven’t looked back since.
I searched for news on Twitter and found @CNN @BBC World @Political News @Breaking News Among many websites, I searched for BBC in Nepali, but couldn’t find it. I was a little frustrated. Then I found Twitter feedIt was great. Then I started creating RSS feeds for the site and broadcasting them.
