Accordion Duo: Julijana Peroša (accordion) and Katarina Peroša (piano)
The accordion duo consists of sisters Julijana and Katarina Peroša, who are studying in the first year of the Master’s program at the Ljubljana Conservatory. Julijana studies the concert accordion in the class of regular professor. Boruta Zagoranski and pianist Katarina study in the class of honorary professor. Dubravka Tomšić Srebonjak. At the same time, they compete as a duo under the guidance of regular professor Bojan Goriško. In the concert of the Solo e da Camera cycle in February 2023, they performed the triptych Fusion city, Clarity, Homesickness by the Italian composer Alessio Manega, and previously the composers Bojan Glavina (Four Pieces for accordion and piano, 2011) and Igor Dekleva dedicated their works to them (Gibanja, 2017 and Con Brio, 2018). As a duo, Juliana and Katharina have won second prize, third prize, first prize, third prize and four times first prize, first prize.
