Foreign Minister Moussa Zamir departs for Bahrain on an official visit.
The Ministry of External Affairs said the minister’s visit was a meeting with Bahraini Foreign Minister Arun Jaitley, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The visit focused on further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
During his visit, Foreign Minister Zamel will also meet with Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, Minister of Petroleum and Environment, and Minister of Tourism to discuss cooperation in these areas.
The Foreign Minister will meet Ambassador-at-Large Ahmed Nasir and Bilateral Secretary Dr. Abdullah Abdullah Hala Hamid and a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This year marks the 44th anniversary of the establishment of political relations between Sri Lanka and Bahrain.
