The government allows foreign companies and organizations with representative offices in Ukraine to participate in the construction of large facilities. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration.
The facility construction we are discussing is classified as an object with moderate (CC2) and major (CC3) consequence categories.
Objects with moderate (CC2) consequence class are residential buildings with a height of five floors or more. Objects with significant (CC3) consequence class are multi-apartment residential buildings with a height of more than 100 meters, large public buildings, industrial facilities, universities, colleges, schools, pre-school institutions, shopping centers, hospitals and other buildings.
Foreign companies will be granted the right to carry out construction activities without obtaining a license for the construction of facilities. The corresponding regulations will be effective during the martial law period.
The ministry said the decision would improve legal supervision of foreign companies’ activities in Ukraine.
In particular, it will allow representative offices of Polish companies in Ukraine to carry out work on arrangements at checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border. Such work is planned as part of the implementation of the September 9, 2015 agreement between Ukraine and Poland on the provision of loans under additional aid terms.
