Following the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl on St. Vincent and the Grenadines, First National Bank of Saint Lucia Limited launched the “SVG Preserve” initiative.

The SVG Conservation Area is a special loan event designed to provide critical financial support to St. Vincent families and communities in need of rebuilding, upgrading and maintaining livelihoods following the impact of Hurricane Beryl.

The loan campaign provides financing for basic needs such as roof repairs, water tanks, generators and any other protective materials needed to protect a home from unforeseen disasters, up to $30,000. It offers customers three months of deferred payments, interest rates as low as 8%, and no deposit is required to obtain funding.

Vonetta Rodgers, District Manager for First National Bank of St. Vincent, commented on the launch of the campaign: “The First National Bank of St. Vincent Reserve was designed with the people of Vincent in mind. We were all impacted in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, and we wanted to be able to provide our clients, friends and family with an avenue to access much needed funds, not only to rebuild, but to sustain their livelihoods into the future.”

Through SVG Preserve, First National Bank aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those impacted by natural disasters, and by offering this tailored financial solution through this event, they are taking the first step toward empowering their customers as they seek to protect their homes and families from any unforeseen challenges in the future.
