Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is reportedly gearing up to star in yet another Bollywood film.
The film, which will soon begin shooting in the UK, stars Vaani Kapoor in the lead role. However, the film’s title, studio and director have not been revealed.
Fawad has previously starred in three Bollywood films. They were Sonam Kapoor’s 2014 film Khubsurat, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions’ 2016 film Kapoor and Sons and that year’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Opportunities for Pakistani stars like Fawad to work in Indian films were interrupted by the 2016 clashes when Pakistani militants attacked Indian troops in Pathankot, killing 19 soldiers.
However, tensions between the two countries have cooled in recent years.
Since ancient times, India’s Bollywood, one of the world’s largest film industries, has provided many opportunities for Pakistani artists, including movie stars and singers.
Fawad’s latest film was last year’s Money Back Guarantee. He will soon be seen in the web series Barzah, which will premiere on Zee5 and Zee Zindagi YouTube channels on 11th of this month.
