The Council of Europe’s Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO) has published a new report assessing the progress made by San Marino in implementing the recommendations on the prevention of corruption made in the fourth GRECO evaluation report (2019) to members of Parliament, judges and prosecutors.

In its report, GRECO concluded that San Marino had satisfactorily implemented or addressed 10 of the 14 recommendations contained in the fourth evaluation report. Of the remaining recommendations, three had been partially addressed and one had not been addressed.

The Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO) is a body of the Council of Europe that aims to improve the anti-corruption capacity of its members by monitoring their compliance with anti-corruption rules. It helps countries identify gaps in national anti-corruption policies and promotes necessary legislative, institutional and practical reforms.
