By Habte Hagos On Monday, June 15, 2020, the European Union rejected the Eritrean government’s request for €50 million for more road works in the country at a Development Committee (DEVE) meeting on EU development cooperation with Eritrea (current status and EU policy objectives). The EU also transferred €30 million originally reserved for Eritrea to Sudan.
