Addis Ababa, June 24, 2024 (Address) African aviation giant Ethiopian Airlines has been named the Best African Airline 2024 for the seventh time in a row at the SkyTrax Awards held today at the Fairmont Windsor Park in London.
Additionally, Ethiopian Airlines won awards in three categories – Best Business Class in Africa, Best Economy Class in Africa and Best Economy Class Inflight Catering in Africa.

Following Ethiopian Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, South African Airways, Kenya Airways and RwandAir ranked 2nd to 5th in Africa respectively.
Ethiopian Airlines ranked 36th in the global ranking, down one place from last year, while Royal Air Maroc ranked 55th.
Qatar Airways reclaimed the title of the world’s best airline for the eighth time in 25 years, a title lost last year to Singapore Airlines, which slipped to second place this year.
According to the SkyTrax Airline Awards, Emirates, All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific and Japan Airlines ranked 3rd to 6th respectively.
