Last Friday, hundreds of residents protested against an al-Shabaab attack on the coast of Mogadishu.
Meanwhile, Ethiopia’s prime minister has become one of the regional and international leaders who have declared they will stand with the Somali people.
The attack left 37 people dead and dozens injured. Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre announced that many people had been arrested in connection with Al-Shabaab’s attack on Friday, including security forces that were allegedly neglected.
