Amrita and her team were shooting in a hilly area called Duars. They were staying at a guest house in the area. But once night falls, the elephants come out. Amrita said she survived an elephant attack.
In his words, “The shooting started a day before I arrived in Douars. I went and heard that elephants came at night. There was a banana plantation next to the hotel. So the elephants came. Even, the elephants broke the wall of the hotel. In fact, the location is one to one and a half kilometers deep in the forest. Everyone was very scared about this.
Arriving at the shooting site, Amrita also got scared after hearing about it. However, there have been no more elephant attacks since then. But people are afraid of rhinos and leopards. The actress also said: “We have been shooting for a long time. After saying that, we had to return from the tea garden. Some of the crew members are local residents. They used to say: ‘It’s half past eight. There is no problem at all. But sometimes rhinos and leopards also appear on this road.”
