Munanpakkaaja Kieku Oy announced that it has stopped selling several batches of eggs due to the discovery of salmonella at an egg production farm. Eggs from this farm were sold in stores under the Kieku, Pirkka, K-Menu and Kotimaista brands.
The recall applies only to eggs marked with farm code 2FI220479.

Kieku Oy instructs customers who have the recalled eggs at home to dispose of the offending eggs as household waste or return the purchased products to the place of purchase.
Salmonella was found during self-surveillance sampling of chickens.
