A shooting occurred in front of a shopping mall in Heredia, killing the driver of a luxury car.
The incident occurred at 1:30 a.m. on Monday on Paseo de las Flores.
The 25-year-old victim was shot several times in different parts of his body and showed no signs of life when he was treated by Costa Rican Red Cross medical staff.
Apparently, two women were traveling with the deceased who escaped.
Agents from the Bureau of Judicial Investigation (OIJ) collected at least 20 pieces of ballistic evidence at the scene.
The case is under investigation.
