The opposition Democratic Progressive Party has said reports that Daliso Kabembe has quit the party are fake news.
Earlier, there were rumours circulating on social media that the PDP presidential candidate had submitted his resignation letter to party chairman Peter Mutharika.
However, the party’s spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba described the reports as fake news.
Namalumba told MIJ Online that DPP chairman Mutharika has not received the letter.
Meanwhile, we tried to contact Kabambe but in vain as his phone was not reachable at the time of publishing this report.
