Donald Sutherland, a veteran Canadian actor who starred in many Hollywood films including The Hunger Games, has died at the age of 88

Kiefer Sutherland is a famous actor. Sutherland, the son of Donald, confirmed the news of his father’s death through a post on the X platform. He was an actor who had appeared in many works since the 1960s, both stage plays and TV series and movies. His most recent well-known performance was in the 2012-2015 “Hunger Games” movie, playing the villain in the story, President Coriolinus Snow.

Donald Sutherland has been nominated many times at various stages and has won both the Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for his work on television but it has never been nominated for an Oscar. But it received an Honorary Oscar in 2017.
