Disney Channel star Skai Jackson has been arrested for reporting on a “family conflict” at a US theme park.
The 22-year-old actress is best known for her role as Zuri Ross on the sitcom Jessie, which ran from 2011 to 2015.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed she was arrested Friday afternoon for “spousal battery” at Universal Studios Hollywood.
We’ve reached out to Skai Jackson’s representatives for comment.
A sheriff’s office spokesman said Miss Jackson was taken to a police station in West Hollywood to be booked.
Police said she was involved in a “domestic dispute” and that she was the “primary aggressor.”
They added: “The investigation is ongoing and will be filed in Van Nuys Superior Court.”
Skai Jackson was cast as Zuri at the age of nine, and later reprised the role for the first three seasons of the spin-off series Bunk’d.
The New York-born actress has also appeared in Marvel Rising and the 2023 films Heroine and The Man in the White Van.
