The 2024 Tony Awards ceremony took place this past Sunday in New York City, and it was exactly the song and dance extravaganza that theater lovers everywhere had been waiting for.
It was a magical night for “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe and other first-time winners. Radcliffe won his first Tony Award, for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical. In his acceptance speech, he said: “This is one of the best experiences of my life.”
Radcliffe’s co-star Jonathan Groff also won his first Tony Award for Best Actor.
