Dam Press:
Issam Al-Tabbaa, director of water affairs in Damascus and its villages, confirmed to the program that the water situation in Damascus is stable, but as we enter July and August next year, the decline in water from the Fijah spring affects water pumping, and water will be transferred from the Barada spring, Ain Jawish and the wells of the pumping center to other sources, which has led to an increase in rationing time in the capital and the release of a new water supply plan.
Al-Tabbaa explained that in some areas, due to the higher altitude, the connection time is longer than in other areas in order for the water to reach the highest point, depending on the nature and topography of the geographical area, noting that citizens can call 166 if they want to submit a complaint, or make a complaint through the website of the General Drinking Water Company.
