On Sunday, September 1, a cycling competition was held in Panevěž, in which students of the Raimund Sargūnas Sports Gymnasium in Panevěž took part.
Gymnastics student Dovydas Bružas won first place in the men’s V18 category and was third in the overall standings in the A distance.
Gymnastics student Monika Dubauskaitė started from distance C and came first in the women’s category and won the gold medal.
Athletes must run 94.9 kilometers over distance A and 36.5 kilometers over distance C.
Cycling coaches from the Panevězh Raymond Sargunas Sports Gymnasium, Argymantas Buividas and Dmitry Leopold prepared the athletes for the competition.
