St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Cultural Festival activities continued on Sunday evening (July 21) as the semi-finalists of the Kaiso competition faced off.
By the end of the night, nine finalists had emerged to challenge the current king, Hollywood. The festival committee described the event as “exciting and intense”.
Leading the pack was King Astro with 476 points, followed by Empress Lyric with 469 points, and King Dis and Dat with 464 points.
Also advancing to the finals are Nutsy (463 points), Invincible (450 points), Murray (439 points), Sookie (438 points), Lady Destiny (435 points) and Daddy Fresh Cold (432 points). Lady Smooth (430 points) will serve as an alternate.
The final will be held at the Nevis Cultural Center on August 2, starting at 8:00 p.m.
