Authorities had been searching since morning for a 71-year-old man who was found dead on Saturday afternoon, July 20.
The man’s relatives had been looking for him since morning and were worried that something had happened to him, so they notified the authorities.
At 6:30 p.m., police and fire departments began searching, and a few minutes later, the 71-year-old was found dead.
According to his information Korinthostv.gr, The unfortunate man was riding his bicycle on the Veliniatika-Assos road when he allegedly lost control of his moped for unknown reasons, fell into a ditch and then crashed into a tree, leading to his tragic death.
His body was taken by ambulance to Corinth General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
