The City Council has issued a public notice to vacate the Mappan Cemetery in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. Therefore, a person is required to bring his own equipment to vacate the cemetery and interested parties are invited to submit bids. The cemetery covers an area of ​​36,153 acres.

Interested parties can visit the City Council’s Procurement Department for more information and submit their bids. Information will be available by 11:00 a.m. on the 14th of this month, and bids will be accepted by 11:00 a.m. on the 20th of this month.

Mayor Adam Azim had earlier said the Mappan cemetery would be vacated first for the development of the parking structure. He said the council’s goal was to do everything it could to expedite the construction of the parking structure.
