The Seoul Billiards Federation recently won the “104th National Sports Meet First Group” medal from the Seoul Sports Association at the “2023 Member Sports Group Executive and Employee Job Training” held by the Seoul Civil Service Agency. The training center is located in Sokcho City, Gangwon Province.
At the event that day, 13 of the 40 sports groups in Seoul that participated in the National Sports Festival and won the overall championship received plaques of appreciation.
In the billiards competition of the 104th National Sports Festival held at the gymnasium of Mokpo Maritime University in South Jeolla Province in mid-October, the Seoul Billiards Federation defeated the Gwangju team (506.18497) with a total score of 598.90173 points and won the championship. The Seoul Billiards Federation won two silver medals (Cho Myung-woo, 1 mat, Lim Yoon-mi, women’s ten ball) and three bronze medals (Cho Myung-woo, 3 mats, Hwangryong, snooker and English pool).
This is the first time Seoul has won first place in the billiards overall score in eight years since the 96th National Sports Meet in 2015. (Reporter Cha Seung-hak MK Billiards News)
