Kathmandu, July 29. The stock market has risen 10% in the past week. The market closed at 2,651 points on Tuesday and 2,931 points on Monday.

Investors and traders themselves will bear the risks and profits of the growing market. Some traders prefer companies with rising prices, while others prefer companies with falling prices.

In the most recent week, six companies saw their prices increase by more than 25%. Likewise, seven companies saw their values ​​decrease by more than 6%.

The companies with the highest price increases are mostly hydropower. In the past week, the Sagarmatha Hydropower Company saw the largest increase in electricity prices, reaching 37.9%.

Similarly, prices at Arunvalley increased by 28.9%, Midsolu Hydropower by 27.9%, Mandakini Hydropower by 27.5%, Arun Kabeli Power by 25.3% and Goodwill Finance by 25.2%.

Hathaway Investment saw the biggest drop in its share price over the past week, at 12.1%. Similarly, Eastern Hotels saw a 9.4% decline, NRN Infrastructure fell 9%, CEDB Water & Power fell 7.6%, First Microfinance fell 7.6%, Emerging Nepal fell 6.8%, and Lakshmi Laguvitta fell 6.7%.
