The Ronaldsway Meteorological Service has downgraded its weather warning for high tides this afternoon.
Forecasters said some flooding was expected along the coast around 2 p.m., but a yellow warning, not an amber alert, was issued.
Massive king tides and strong winds will mean waves and debris will wash onto exposed coastal areas.
The areas most likely to be affected are Fenella Beach in Peel, Shore Road in Rushen and Castletown Promenade.
