Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa has allotted 31,680 square feet of federal government land to the Balochistan government to celebrate Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day.
The Chief Secretary of Balochistan announced in a letter that the 31,680 square feet land located near the Quaid-e-Azam residential area in Ziarat will be used as a public welfare environment centre.
The Chief Justice expressed his desire to provide the land licence to the provincial government free of charge and attached a document detailing the terms and conditions of the licence.
He also mentioned that if the federal government agrees, the gift will be presented to the people on the festive day of August 14, 2024.
The letter was signed by Qazi Azmat Isa and Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, officially announcing the donation of the land to the environment center.
Copies of the letter were also sent to the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Government of Balochistan and the Chief Minister of Balochistan.
