Christian Tybring-Gjedde to continue as member of the Foreign Affairs Committee

Tybring-Gjedde has been serving as a parliamentary representative of the party since 2005. He will continue to hold this position until the next parliamentary elections in the fall of 2025. If Tybring-Gjedde is allowed to remain on the committee and the FRP wants another representative besides Listhaug, there will be some changes. The committee will then be expanded by one member.

– Malin Nossum, head of the Legislative Secretariat department of the parliamentary administration, told NRK that a selection committee consisting of 37 deputies of the parliament is responsible for deciding the members of the expert committee.

For Tybring-Gidde, several things are changing. Now that he is not a member of the Liberal parliamentary group, he cannot use their advisers. Instead, he has been given support to hire his own people.
