Kathmandu, July 25. High Court Judge Dr. Ratna Bahadur Bagchand has been promoted as Chief Justice of the High Court. The committee also recommended the list of 35 district judges in its meeting on Friday.
The Judicial Commission recommended Bhagchand, who is serving as the temporary judge of the High Court in Birgunj, as the chief justice of the Pokhara High Court. Based on the recommendation, the chief justice will appoint him.
