Oranjestad, Aruba – July 25, 2023 – ELMAR is proud to announce once again their support for the folk culture of Parada through a donation to the Chico Hames Foundation. ELMAR supports various cultural events throughout the year, including Brazil Day. Brazil Day is celebrated every year on the first Sunday of September, and this year it will be celebrated on September 1, 2024.
The Brazil Day season is a period full of Aruban and Creole cultural atmosphere and activities. It starts with an acoustic parade, then a street song festival, a typical batacasso festival and ends with a lantern parade and a great cultural folklore parade. This is an initiative organized by the Chico Harms Foundation near Brazil.
As a local company, it is important for ELMAR to support cultural initiatives. ELMAR invites all of Aruba to join in these events to celebrate and embrace our culture!
