On Tuesday, they had to play Iran in the semi-final. Nepal was under pressure as they were playing against a team they had lost to just two days ago. But Nepal beat Iran 3-0 in straight sets and secured a clash with India in the final.
Nepal beat Iran 25-21, 28-26, 25-20 in the match held at Kerver Hall. Captain Aruna Shahi said it was easy to come after studying Iran’s game.

The score in the third set was close to 6 points. But after Iran led by 4 points, it chased to 12-8. When Iran caught up to 14 points, Nepal tied the score. Due to Iran’s mistakes, Nepal scored 12 points in the first set, 11 points in the second set, and 4 points in the third set. This also made the victory easy.
