Isle of Man missile Mark Cavendish is one of the favourites for this year’s Sports Personality of the Year award.
The online betting guide website said the Douglas-born star had a 9.1 percent chance of winning the prestigious prize.
He leads Tom Pidcock and Alfie Hewitt.
Cavendish won stage five of his final Tour de France – a record 35 career stage wins – and will return to the island on Thursday for a ride of honour.
