June 4 marks the 75th anniversary of the handover of Cambodia’s Krom territory from France to Vietnam, but ahead of this anniversary, overseas Cambodians have organized a ceremony to commemorate the anniversary of the loss of Cambodia’s Krom territory on June 1 and 2. The Cambodia-based Krom Association will celebrate the anniversary on Sunday, June 9, at the Samaki Rainsy Temple, also known as Wat Khmer Kampuchea Krom.
