The Cambodian economy is expected to grow by 6% this year, slightly lower than the earlier estimate of 6.6%, due to slower-than-expected growth in some sectors, the Ministry of Economy and Finance said in its recently released mid-year report.
The industrial sector – mainly clothing, footwear, travel goods and construction – is expected to grow 7.9 percent this year, the report said.
