AThe Barbados Meteorological Service is currently monitoring this system, and as the island prepares for severe weather associated with this system, the Barbados Water Authority is reminding customers who are regularly impacted by water discoloration issues that it is very important to store water.
Remember, the recommended amount of water is five gallons per person per day, for at least five days. Water should be stored in clean, covered containers.
In addition to stockpiling water, keeping disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer on hand can also help keep yourself and your surroundings sanitary.
