A British tourist was allegedly raped and robbed by a “street vendor” on Magafu Beach.
The suspect found the intoxicated woman lying alone in the street after she became separated from her friends.

He took her to the beach and raped her there, local media Ultima Hora reported.
The suspect, who is said to be a street vendor, then stole her mobile phone.
It is understood the holidaymaker, whose age is unknown, had little memory of what happened and reported the incident to police hours later.
The investigation is currently underway by the National Guard, who have been analysing CCTV cameras to try to identify the suspect.
The sexual assault allegedly took place around 4am on July 24 but was only recently made public.
