London: Three British military horses broke free from their trainers and ran amok on the streets of central London on Monday.

This is reportedly the second such incident in the past three months Associated Press.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed that three horses escaped from their trainers with the Household Cavalry Regiment during an exercise on Monday morning after the lead horse was spooked by a passing bus.

Officials said the horses were quickly rounded up by army and Metropolitan Police officers and returned to Hyde Park Barracks.

Additionally, one of the horses received treatment for minor injuries, but no injuries were reported.

The incident was caused by the escape of four military horses on April 24. They were frightened by the noise from the construction site and ran around the city.

Additionally, officials said none of the horses involved in the latest incident had been involved in previous escapes.
