Boyko Borisov keeps silent about the situation in the DPS, because he is addicted and he is afraid of many things. Who drives the train in DPS and what made Peevski choose him?
Ahmed Demir Dogan… is, as the Greeks say, an architect – a creator, not only of the political party of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, but also of a certain model of relations in our society. Ahmed is a well-educated man.
Stupidity made him choose Pejewski. Ahmed should be held responsible for starting it and handing it over to management, for which he had neither the preparation nor the moral foundation.

Dorgan said: “You are wrong, you are wrong. This kid is too capable. You are not a businessman and cannot evaluate things correctly. Whoever speaks against Delian is against me and against the movement.” It was probably 2018. That is, no one expected that these were the people who were “shot”, not naive people. Dorgan is not a fool.

I think we take Delian Pejewski very seriously. The problem is the Bulgarian political elite, the Bulgarian business elite, the Bulgarian intellectual elite, who allow figures like Delian Pejewski to dominate.

I cannot explain to myself why the main figures in the DPS are now in Peevski’s team, how could they be in it. For example, Dancho Tsonev, Iskren – they owe their lives to Ahmed, everything they have – their prosperity, their children, their families, their property, their inner peace, reputation, public prestige – they owe everything to Ahmed Dogan.
Now, when Danjo explains how he basically does this, all of a sudden his lower lip is clenched… because he’s scared to death. What does he know. Dellian tells him: You do this, you do that, or I do something. I cause you property damage…
I heard that he arranged loans for people in his circle through a certain bank, becoming their guarantor through the bank… If we have a loan of 500,000 and someone tells us: “Either you listen to us, or at the end of the year. Every month you have to return 500,000 dollars or euros” – what should we do?
There are deals, there are properties, by the sea, Danjo is from Burgas. This is a very experienced man.
Pejewski’s party has no prospects. And what are the reasons: personal dependence and material interests. They are both afraid of Delian and economically dependent on him.
Why is Borisov silent?
Why doesn’t he speak? He doesn’t care at all. There is no freedom of speech. He has no freedom of action, so he is dependent. Why, when you are the first political force, are you still afraid that Delian will not support you, and do you still want to form a government?
Ahmed said: “We will not support”, which is good. Boyko is rested. Imagine a government authorized by Boyko and led by Pejewski.
Pejewski will no longer be a factor
Boyko was hooked, though. It was. Because Delian would no longer be the factor he had been in the last parliament. He could be someone else, he could go to the frontiers of science or work in diplomacy, or go to the UN, and if they invited him, he could still be a factor with the qualities he possessed. But in this capacity – to be the speaker of parliament, to speak for parliament in the absence of elected leadership or having the largest group and to have them tolerate…
Borisov is afraid of many things. For example, their mutual control and guidance of the judicial system.
Who appointed Tsatsarov as Chief Prosecutor, who appointed Geshev as Chief Prosecutor, who appointed Sarafov as Chief Prosecutor? Was it the Supreme Council of the Judiciary? Perhaps the Bulgarian legal community introduced them?
What does this have to do with Peevsky – I don’t know. I tell you in general terms – dependence, fear of kompromat, fear of “Magnitsky”. The devil knows … Fear of losing money in the United Arab Emirates. Because they are not in Bulgaria, they are somewhere. Where are they? For the past 10 years, Boyko has been in high government positions. He can’t operate with big capital – he will immediately shine somewhere. He does not have a large legal income, so someone else got a letter of authorization to operate his assets. Who will it be – someone who is comfortable. At some point, you become dependent on another person.
Delian, probably, like anyone who wants to command, has a safe with folders – he will start taking them out. They will start to have them back against them … It will become such a gypsy that we don’t know about the prosecutor’s office, the Ministry of the Interior, the DANS, except that they emigrate somewhere …
Why Peevsky and Dogan disagree on Borisov’s cabinet ideas
At the same time, both Boyko and Ahmet Dogan have decided that forming a government is unprofitable for them. Pejewski will dominate this field. This will significantly strengthen Pejewski’s position… Ahmet probably knew at least a month ago that Delian wanted to settle accounts with him and take control of the DPS single-handedly… He would also have Boyko by the neck, he would order the government, would expel Dogan: “The DPS is mine”… They feel equally threatened.
If Pejewski still possesses compromising material, what is his weakness?
The question is not about the leaked documents. The question is whether there are facts that make Dogan and Boyko vulnerable or dependent on Pejewski. By the facts, I understand material dependence: bank accounts, money, property, dishonest transactions – that’s enough.
The strongest mafia and the strongest private group are weaker than the weakest state. Ahmed and Boyko are institutional factors. Delian is not like that, even Ahmed took away his institutional qualities in one fell swoop. He said: I want to fire you as chairman, you are nothing, I want you to resign and go away.
The state will support them no matter what.
I think Pejewski doesn’t know what to do now. He’s just embarrassed about his new situation after waking up the next day because he told Ahmed, Abe, mind your own business. … He’s in such a comfortable position… Why he’s like this, I can’t understand.
DPS will remain a factor in political life. Pejewski made a serious mistake – politically, economically and humanly… He is not a political factor, he is not important.
He was only important as Ahmed Dogan’s junior partner. Once he made the mistake of positioning himself and thinking he was the senior partner, he lost everything.
Suppose Delyan throws a party – who will work with him? Can you imagine throwing a party in Bulgaria in cooperation with Delyan Peevski? In front of Ahmet’s real DPS. Who will do business with Delyan Peevski? No one! Following the experience of Tsvetan Vasilyev, the experience of Vasyl Bozhikov, the experience of everyone – the experience of the printing and newspaper business, the experience of the distribution agency “Lafka”, the experience of “Bulgartabac” – who will work with such a person?
Because of Ahmed, Deljan was seen as an inconvenient appendage.
